IsaBooties’™ soles are made from Toughtek®, a heavy-duty, non-marking “grip” fabric made from 100% polyester backing with a rubber outercoating. Unlike suede soles that can become slick with wear, Toughtek® retains its non-slip quality in wet, dry, warm or cold conditions. And, even though Toughtek® is extremely sturdy, it’s also soft and flexible enabling IsaBooties™ to mimic barefoot walking.
Toughtek® is extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, so your toddler can run, climb, crawl, and scale almost any surface. In fact, Toughtek® is so strong, that it was used on the booties worn by search and rescue dogs working at the World Trade Center site after September 11, 2001.
