All items come from non-smoking pet-loving homes. Animals are not allowed in our work areas, however, if the occasional animal hair bothers you, please consider shopping elsewhere.
Shipping
Kindhearted Women products ship for FREE via USPS Priority or First Class with mandatory delivery confirmation for 55 cents. For an added $1.50 your package will be insured for $50.00. If you do not purchase insurance, we cannot be responsible for packages once they leave our hands.
We welcome customers from outside the US, and are happy to ship to you. Please include your e-mail address with your order and you will receive an updated shipping total. We usually ship once a week. Orders received before Friday at noon will generally be mailed on the following Tuesday. Please note our diapering supplies are shipped from a different address than our other products.
PLEASE NOTE: When shipping our Body Butters in the warmer months or to warmer areas, we have discovered an issue with melting and/or leaking product. You now have the option of adding a small biodegradable ice pack to your box for just $1.00. We GREATLY ENCOURAGE this option to ensure the product reaches you in the condition that it left us. If you choose not to purchase this option, we can't be responsible for damage or changes in the product due to exposure to excessive heat.
Biodegradable Ice Packs
After searching for a way to keep our body butters fresh and solid while in transit, one of our customers brought a unique product to our attention. 
These ice packs meet our standards in that they are biodegradable, 100% safe and non-toxic to humans, animals, and the environment (it's even used to ship food); and it won't leave your box wet if it does warm up (which we doubt, as it remains frozen a very long time)! It is cost effective to us, so it is low-cost to you. For just $1.00 you can now be assured that your products reach you in the very same condition that they left us. No more melted body butters! Simply choose the Priority Mail with Insulation & Ice Pack option at check out if you are ordering temperature sensitive items (Body Butters in particular, but it is helpful with all of our body/hair products, especially if you live a distance from Connecticut).
Our Return/Refund Policy
Diapers and other cloth items have a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not happy with your purchase, simply return it (unwashed and unused of course) in the box in which it was sent. You will be given a refund (minus shipping charges) or a product of equal value. If you experience problems with the craftsmanship (which we of course do not foresee), contact Leslie and the item will be repaired or replaced to your satisfaction. It is our policy to provide the best service to our customers, please contact us with any problems, we will do our best to make the situation right. Due to the nature of the body care products, they cannot be returned. If a problem should arise, please contact Tracey, and she will do her best to solve the problem in a satisfactory manner.
Special Requests
Should you have a special request for a product or formulation that we do not offer, please send a message to Tracey@KindheartedWomen.com. Similarly, should you need a diaper size or design that is not offered, mail Leslie@KindheartedWomen.com. We will do our best to meet your needs, or point you in the direction of someone who can.
Gifts
If you wish to give Kindhearted Women products as gifts, we would be happy to leave out the shipping invoice and enclose a card with the order. In the comment section of your order; please include the words you would like written in the card, and any other instructions. Remember to include the "ship to" address (it helps if you include this in paypal as well). We also offer gift certificates - contact us by e-mail for more information.
